NIIT announces 15th I.T. Scholarship in Nigeria
– Presents new age GNIIT – an all new Cloud Centric Curriculum for the next generation IT professionals in Nigeria
– Annual Scholarship Test to be held on July 12th across the country
Lagos, Nigeria, June 17, 2014: NIIT, leading Global Talent Development Corporation today announced the 15th NIIT Nigeria Scholarship 2014, to reward meritorious students desirous of building successful careers in fast evolving IT sector in the country. This is NIIT’s initiative to enhance employability of meritorious students to meet the industry needs of the country.
The scholarship test will be held on July 12, 2014. With a thrust on creating skilled manpower for the Nigerian IT industry, the NIIT Nigeria Scholarship will help students get skilled for a global career in IT through training in technology. For the first time scholarship will also be offered for new-age GNIIT program.
The unique GNIIT program based on all new cloud centric curriculum can be pursued anywhere anytime, by leveraging the unique cloud learning methodology. With the new GNIIT, student learns not only at an NIIT centre but also through Nigeria’s first Cloud CampusTM that leverages the power of Information Technology in education. The pioneering NIIT Cloud CampusTM empowers student to learn on his own terms, at his own pace, wherever and whenever he wants it. Students enjoy higher mobility as they can easily access educational services using a Netbook or a Mobile device that connects them to NIIT’s Cloud CampusTM network. These services will be managed by NIIT centrally, using the power of Cloud Computing.
