IIM Calcutta and NIIT Imperia announce fresh batch for Advanced Program in Supply Chain Management
New Delhi, October 21, 2016: NIIT Imperia – Centre for Advanced Learning Institute along with IIM Calcutta has announced a fresh batch for Advanced Program in Supply Chain Management (APSCM). This is a unique program specially designed to equip managers and practitioners with advanced concepts and practices of Supply Chain Management which will help them contribute directly to overall corporate success.
The one-year program in Supply Chain Management (APSCM) is specifically designed for working professional or self-employed people with minimum 3 years of work experience, post completion of graduation as on December 1, 2016. The applicants should have at least 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation recognized by UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU in any discipline. APSCM will help professionals take a wide sweep of SCM operations and strategic activities.

1-year program in Supply Chain Management allows prolonged and smooth learning of the subject which eventually help in better retention of the gained knowledge. The program is designed with a mix of experience sharing, real life case discussions, assignments and industry/research based projects besides the lectures in class. Students undertaking the program will be given group projects in supply chain management related to their companies. In addition to this, students need to attend 9 days of campus visit module during the program (6 Days at the beginning and 3 days at the end). Successful candidates will be given certification from IIM Calcutta.
The program offers students with adequate inputs in concepts and practices of logistics, understanding supply chain management, designing & managing channel partners, procurement and sourcing management, supply chain modelling, supply network strategy and much more.
