NIIT acquires equity stake in Evolv
Gurgaon, January 15, 2008: NIIT, the leading Global Talent Development Corporation and Asia’s largest trainer, today announced that it has acquired controlling interest in Evolv Management Services Private Limited (Evolv), a leading provider of English Language and Communication Training, headquartered in Noida.
Evolv has over 100 employees, and has a pan-India presence and delivery capability. It provides training services to marquee clients across IT and ITeS, Banking, Insurance and Telecom industry segments, amongst others. English Language and Communication Training forms the core of training needed by the workforce across all services sectors including IT/ITES, Banking, Retail, Hospitality and Healthcare etc.
Evolv has developed over 50 specialized courses and a library of modules for providing training in the English Language and Communication domain. The courses include Accent Neutralization, Fluency and Expression, Cross Cultural Communication, Presentation Skills, Business Writing Assertive Communication, Conversational Skills etc. The courses can be customized to be delivered to working professionals from different industries, functions and levels.
