NIIT enters into a strategic partnership with Sekolah Tinggi Desain Bali

Bali 1st September 2015: NIIT, a global leader in skills and talent development, and Sekolah Tinggi Desain Bali – STD Bali today entered into a partnership in Bali to offer multiple new-age career opportunities under the revolutionary Mastermind Series – a path breaking program, designed to help students in the country to acquire skill sets for global career opportunities. The agreement was signed between Sekolah Tinggi Desain Bali (Dr. N.K Acwin Dwijendra, ST., MA., Dipl. LMP, Director and Chairman) and NIIT Limited (Mr. Sanjay Tickoo, Vice President) at a ceremony organised at the college campus.

Over the last decade, NIIT has played a significant role in placing Indonesia’s software and services sector on the international map. Under this partnership, NIIT will provide content, impart training for lecturers and conduct examinations towards the successful completion of the programs. The Mastermind programs can be pursued along with graduation, thus allowing students to get the benefit of dual certification. The program has industry relevant curriculum mapped to international certification. The students are exposed to diverse technologies leading to better job opportunities. Not only the students, but also the Universities get an edge over other educational institutions. NIIT helps the Universities to design programs mapped to the industry standards.

NIIT has been present in Indonesia for over 17 years and has made a considerable contribution towards ICT education in the country. It has played a pioneering role in providing necessary skills to the youth of the country, desirous of building great careers. NIIT has trained over 16,800 students across 13 centres over the last decade, which has helped Indonesia get an edge in the global IT sector.

NIIT has a very unique business model for co-operation with Universities and Colleges in Indonesia called the – “NIIT Inside model”, where NIIT programs are embedded in University/College IT curriculum. Students may undergo a 4 year Bachelor Degree program or a 3 year Associate Degree program post 12th grade in Information Technology. Currently, NIIT curriculum is embedded into both these programs across multiple Universities and Colleges in Indonesia. The students get the degree or the associate degree from the University/Government and also receive a certificate from NIIT.

NIIT has helped thousands of students through their unique “NIIT Inside model”. Each and every student is exposed to standard course materials and also gets experience on live Industry relevant projects. NIIT also helps Universities in curriculum upgradation and standardized learning experience like student guides, data files, presentation slides, instructor guide, sessions plan and implementation manual.

Furthermore, Mastermind Series opens up exciting exit profiles like-Database Developer, Web Application Developer in Java & .NET, Desktop Technician support, Network Technician, Windows server administration, Database administration etc.

NIIT Inside model is successfully running in Indonesia, China, Botswana and NIIT has partnership with more than 150 Colleges and Universities to embed the NIIT curriculum into their college IT curriculum.
